| Kayak TripsOuter Island Expeditions offers daily tours that depart just a half mile from the Eastsound Landmark Inn. These tours are an approximately three hour paddle (round trip) to Pt. Doughty State Park for a snack or lunch. On the way we frequently spot seals, eagles, porpoises and more.For the more adventurous you can board a power boat and head over to Sucia Island for a guided kayak trip around this pristine island park. Sucia Island is 2.5 miles North of Orcas Island. Sucia and the surrounding islands provide a haven for wildlife as the protected waters and undeveloped lands make great homes for seals, sea lions, otters, and a multitude of birds.
